Demo site — fictional Collingwood-area contractor for DeskDev Sites QA. Not a real business.

Collingwood · Blue Mountains · Georgian Bay

Excavating that shows up when the ground is ready.

Site excavation, grading, driveways, and utility trenches for homeowners and builders from Collingwood to Meaford. This is a DeskDev Sites demo — not a real contractor.

Services

What the crew is built for

Four offers, one template. Copy and icons come from tenant config — not a custom page per trade.

Site excavation & earthworks

We stage machines, mark utilities, and move material so the next trade can start on grade. Demo copy for the Service Pro template.

Foundations, additions, and lot clearing without chewing up the neighbour’s driveway.

Grading, drainage & lot prep

Swales, final grade, and water that leaves the foundation instead of sitting on it.

Driveways, pads & access roads

Granular driveways, parking pads, and construction access that survives a thaw.

Utility trenches & septic beds

Clean trenches for water, hydro, and septic — marked, shored, and backfilled.

Process

Call. Walk. Quote. Dig.

A homeowner should know what happens after the form. Four steps, no builder wizard.

  1. 01

    Call or send the job

Phone is on every page. Or use the quote form — municipality, service, and a sentence about the work.

  2. 02

    Walk the site

We look at access, spoil, utilities, and what the next trade needs. Same-week visits when the weather allows.

  3. 03

    Written quote

Scope, machine time, and material in one note. No mystery extras on demo paperwork either.

  4. 04

    Dig day

Crew on site, neighbours considered, grade left ready for the following trade.

Reviews

What a finished job sounds like

Every quote here is labelled as demo content. No real customer names or businesses.

They flagged the hydro locate before anyone else had coffee. The addition footing was on grade the same afternoon.
J. Walsh · Collingwood (demo)Demo review — fictional homeowner
Our builder needed a pad and a swale before a Thursday pour. They treated it like a real deadline, not a maybe.
Priya N. · Thornbury (demo)Demo review — fictional builder
The driveway still drains after a January thaw. That’s the only review that matters on our road.

FAQ

Straight answers before you call

Accordion content is authored once on the tenant. Town pages reuse the same questions.

Do you work winter jobs?

Frozen ground and snow load change the plan. We still quote frost-aware work; some excavation waits for a thaw. This is demo copy for Harbourview Excavating.

How fast can we get a quote?

A complete form (town, service, and a sentence about access) is usually enough to price a site visit. Phone is faster for same-week work. Demo process — no real dispatch desk.

Are you licensed and insured?

A live Service Pro site would list the client’s real WSIB / insurance details here. This demo does not claim a real licence number.

What towns do you cover?

Collingwood, The Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach, Stayner, Thornbury, and Meaford. Each town has its own page generated from this same list.

Can a builder book you directly?

Yes — use the quote form and name the lot. A production tenant would route that lead to api.desk.dev/sites/leads and onward to email/CRM.

Tell us the town and the job

The form posts to api.desk.dev/sites/leads. Client validation runs first. This demo still succeeds if the API is offline.
